The St. Mark library houses thousands of hardcover and paperback titles geared towards Preschool to 8th grade students, in addition to age-appropriate periodicals, books on tape, and reference titles. A full-time Librarian meets the media needs of students and faculty.
The library facility offers a quiet reading area, a "treehouse" reading area, and a "stadium seating" area equipped with smartboard projector technology where the librarian may read to a class, show a video to a class, or conduct a class Internet lesson. Computer workstations are available for student use.
Students in Preschool through 5th grade visit the library as a class one day a week at a scheduled time. Parents are encouraged to volunteer during their child's weekly library visit to assist with book check-in, check-out. and restocking. Please contact the librarian for more information.
Middle school students visit the library every other week as a class at a scheduled time.
Any student may come to the library before school (7:40 AM to 8:00 AM) for any library-related reason.
Students may visit the library after school, but to insure proper supervision, they must either have a parent with them, or have made advance arrangements with the Librarian.
