Lunch

The St. Mark Cafeteria program provides healthy, scratch made lunch options to students. The in-house cafeteria staff lovingly prepares nutritious, homemade meals on site each day. Menu items are baked not fried, fruits and vegetables are fresh not canned, and baked goods are made with whole grains. Students may choose from four lunch options which change daily, and must be pre-ordered:

-Hot plate lunch
-Pasta entree with plate lunch
-Grab-N-Go (homemade sandwich, chips, and fruit)
-Entree salad

In addition, the Cafeteria offers a number of ala carte items that students can purchase on site (no pre-order necessary) such as fresh fruit, house made chips and cookies. Items are subject to change based on availability and demand. 

Students also have the option to purchase early breakfast between 7:15-7:30 AM. This will be eaten in the cafeteria and they will have until 7:40 to finish. Options include breakfast tacos, fruit cups and muffins. Preorder is not needed. 

Parents are welcome to eat lunch with their child at any time, and may bring in lunch from outside. Simply check-in at the Receptionist's Desk. Special tables are located in the back of the Cafeteria to accommodate family lunches.

Lunch Schedule
10:45 - 11:30    Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten
11:30 - 12:00    Grades 1 and 2
12:00 - 12:30    Grades 3, 4, and 5
12:30 - 1:00      Grades 6, 7, and 8

Lunch Procedures
Cafeteria lunches must be pre-ordered through FACTS Family Portal (aka RenWeb). Deadlines are shown below, and will also be posted in the Weekly School Bulletins. 
 
Items of Importance:
- Drinks must be purchased separately.
- The menu posted in FACTS Family Portal will be an abbreviated version. Please consult the menu shown at left for full details.
-The online order form in FACTS will NOT reflect total price. Your account will be billed on the day lunch is served.
-Be sure to select only one drink option – white milk or chocolate milk, water, or juice.
-Changes to the lunch order CANNOT be made after the order deadline.

How to Pre-Order
Login to FACTS Family Portal (aka RenWeb).
Click on “Student” and then click on “Lunch.”
Click on the date you are ordering lunch.
Click on “Create Web Order.” 
Enter a quantity for the selected item. (Price will NOT be updated on order form.)
Be sure to submit a separate order for each student. 
Scroll to the bottom and click on “Order Items.”
 
There are different views available. Choose the one that works best for you. For example, on the order page, you can choose a “classic” or “collapsible” view.

Items ordered will be reflected in blue on the lunch homepage.
 
Billing
-Pre-ordered lunches will be charged to your child’s account on the days they are served. 
-If your child is absent, you will not be charged. 
-Please remember to check the balance(s) in your cafeteria account(s).
-Even though the prepaid cafeteria account is set up in FACTS, funds are NOT automatically added when your child’s balance gets low.
-FACTS will send low/negative balance emails. Negative balances are displayed in red with a dash in front of the amount, for example  -4.50. 

Lunch Accounts
Each student automatically has a dining account through FACTS.

How to Access Cafeteria Account
Login to the FACTS Family Portal (aka RenWeb) and click on financial on the bottom left. Cafeteria balances will be in the Prepay section. 

View Lunch Account Activity
Once logged in (see above), click on the dollar amount next to your child's name. A popup will appear with detailed purchases and payments on the account. 

Add Funds
You may add money to your child's account in one of two ways:
1. Login (see above), click on add funds. 

2. Add funds through the Electronic Payment page on the school website. Choose the "Cafeteria" option from the drop-down menu.

Food Restrictons
If you have a restriction you would like placed on your child's cafeteria account, please complete the "Lunch Restrictions Form" located in the Documents section at left, and return it to the school office.  Contact:
