Personal: I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin but spent most of my life in Texas. I grew up in the Hill Country before heading to Austin College in Sherman, Texas. I am married with one child. I have two fur babies, Tank and Shiner. I love reading, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Philosophy of Education: My philosophy in education is student-centered. I believe each student is different with an individual way of learning and their own set of needs and gifts that brought to the classroom. It is my responsibility as a teacher to expound on their gifts and provide an environment that will foster maximum learning and meet each child’s individual needs.

Mission Statement: My mission is to create life long readers and learners.
