Education: Master of Library Science, Texas Women's University; Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

I have been at St. Mark since: 1993

Personal: I am married with two grown daughters, two sons-in-law and four grandchildren. My hobbies are evident in the electives I teach: Book Club, Jigsaw Puzzles, and American Musicals. I also enjoy yoga, walking and traveling, and try to get back to my hometown of Chicago at least once a year.

Philosophy of Education: Nothing makes me happier than putting a student and his/her perfect book together. In my many years in this job, I've turned more than a few "non-readers" into readers.

Mission Statement: It is my mission to instill in each child a love of reading and books and to foster in each student the ability to find information.
