Claire Moxley

Education: B.S.  in Forestry from Louisiana Tech University; presently in my yearlong internship with TEA and Texas Teachers of Tomorrow for Teaching Certification EC-6.

I have been at St. Mark since: 7 years subbing, 2 years part time in 2^nd grade, 1^st year fulltime

Personal: I moved with my family to Texas in 2010 and we started attending St. Mark Church.  I have two children who have both attended St. Mark from Preschool to 8^th grade. I enjoy running, gardening, hiking, and camping / traveling with my family. 

Philosophy of Education: My philosophy of education is to meet all students where they are in learning journey and encourage and love them, while keeping Jesus at the center of everything we do.

Mission Statement: My mission is to create and inspire a lifelong love of learning by implementing lessons that are exciting and diverse allowing all students to learn in many ways.  The kindergarten team joins parents and our faith community to assist the students in developing skills to become life – long learners who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a Christian community.
