Education: I received a BA in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and Art Education from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. I received a Masters of Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Personal: I have lived in the Dallas area since 1981. I have one daughter who graduated from Bishop Lynch HS. My family lives in the St. Louis and Indianapolis area, so my daughter and I travel to spend time with them when we can. In my free time, I work on personal illustrations- drawing is a passion. I have taught English and Art during my career.
Philosophy of Education: Education provides information and pathways to reach personal goals. Faith is scaffolding that provides a framework of strength that empowers students to trust in themselves, and through their educational experiences students will discover they are following the path intended for them by God.
Mission Statement: I believe students should be lifetime learners – exploring many different areas of interest, finding their passions, and believing they are capable of many great things – faith will guide them. I believe in helping students cultivate a curious and creative mind seeing God in all things.
