Education: B.S.in Applied Science in Exercise Physiology, Minor in Music Performance from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, OH
I have been at St. Mark since: 2025
Personal: I am so excited to join the St. Mark community! I was born and raised in Ohio, and my husband and I (and our 2 now-senior rescue pups) have lived in Texas, Tennessee, and Colorado, but are back to stay in Texas since 2017. I have been playing the piano my entire life and have sung in choirs in Ohio, Colorado, and now I sing at Our Lady of Angels in Allen, TX. I have coached junior high and high school track and, if I’m not running or doing yoga or walking our dogs, you will find me dancing to Disney music as I cook a new recipe in our kitchen. Football season is my favorite time of year, and you can always find me cheering on my teams of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines!
Philosophy of Education: I have been called to teach the youngest of our community and guide them how to learn to sing, make music, develop rhythm (even if it is uniquely their own), explore movements through structured play, and grow more confident every day in their gifts and cultivate a love and joy of learning.
Mission Statement: Children are unique and deserve to use all the gifts God gave them. My goal is that each child, when they leave my classroom, feel sure of their gifts and want to share their own developing skills of music, movement, and joy with everyone they meet.
