Maria Egan

Education: B.S. in Child Learning and Development/Psychology, The University of Texas at Dallas

Personal: I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and I moved to Texas four years ago to attend college. I met my husband through the Catholic center at UTD, and we just got married this past May! In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, praying, and playing games with my husband. I am so excited to begin teaching here at St. Mark’s!

Philosophy of Education: I believe each child is created by God to achieve a specific purpose in His Will. It is my responsibility as a teacher to provide the tools, support, and encouragement to guide students to discover what they were created to achieve.

Mission Statement: My mission is to uphold the dignity of each student and provide a supportive environment for each student to achieve their God-given potential.
