Education: Master of Science, Texas Christian University; Bachelor of Science, Texas Christian University
I've Been at St. Mark Since: 2018, but I am a proud St. Mark alumna from the Class of 2001.
Personal: I love to take spontaneous international trips and I enjoy participating in endurance sports events, especially triathlons. I also love spending time with my family.
Philosophy of Education: As an educator, my primary focus revolves around character development and preparing my students to navigate through any challenges that life might throw at them. I want them to be able to understand the “bigger lessons” in life and be people of character and integrity that others look to with respect and admiration, not necessarily because of what they have achieved or accomplished, but how they clearly stand out for their character, kindness, and treatment of others.
Mission: I know that on a daily basis my students will be faced with opportunities to be able to make even just a small difference in other people’s lives and make the world a better place to be. I want them to confidently and willingly rise to these occasions and make changes to improve both their own lives and the lives of people all across the world. I want my students to “stand up for what is right, even if they are standing alone.”
