Monica Moreno

Education: B.A. in Communication, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Certifications and specialization: Generalist EC-6

Personal: I grew up in South Texas and moved to DFW in 2012. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and we have two daughters who currently attend St. Mark. I’ve taught Dual Language Kindergarten and PreK, both of which have been so rewarding. My heart is in early education! During my free time I enjoy traveling, concerts, reading and spending time with my family.

Philosophy of Education: As an early childhood educator I believe it is my duty to foster a love for learning in the hearts and minds of little ones. In my classroom, I have an opportunity to encourage empathy, spark curiosity and inspire my students to be lifelong learners.

Mission Statement: My mission is to create a safe and loving environment that will nurture curious minds, encourage a growth mindset and promote kindness.
