I have been at St. Mark since: 2021
Personal: I am married and have four children, two grandchildren; one foster son and two foster grandchildren. I've taught since 1988 in a variety of settings from University to Middle School and love my profession. I enjoy my family, working out, watching sports, and reading books. My husband and I are native Dallassites and have lived here most of our lives. I love a good joke and believe laughter is essential for a balanced life.
Philosophy of Education: I believe that all children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their education. My goal is that my students will express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace and appreciate the differences of others. I feel that mutual respect between teacher, student and parents is essential for education to be successful.
Mission Statement: I will do my best each day to inspire my students to be curious, to examine issues thoroughly and thoughtfully, to view the world through a Christian Catholic lens and work toward a just society. I will strive to help students realize their full potential academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually while respecting and appreciating those around them.
