Education: B.S. Education

Personal Short Bio: I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but have also lived in Minnesota, and Boston. My husband is deceased, and I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I attended Catholic school for elementary and high school. y degree in education is from Chicago State University. I taught 7^th& 8^th gr. Lit. from 1996-2018 at St. Mark’s. Retirement came in 2018, however I have been teaching 6^th gr. Lit. for the past two years part time. This year, 2023-2024, I will be teaching 7^th gr. Literature. I enjoy travel, reading, spending time with my grandchildren, and shopping.

Philosophy of Education: I believe that each child comes into the classroom with unique abilities and backgrounds. I must create a classroom where each child can grow physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential, but with structure.
