I have been at St. Mark since: 2022
Personal: I have lived in Texas all my life. I am married and have a daughter that is a senior attending The University of Oklahoma. I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog and traveling.
Philosophy of Education: I believe in a student-centered approach to education where students take charge of their own learning. My classroom will focus on the specific needs of all students, so I will use different learning styles to meet each student’s needs. I believe in active learning so that every student is focused and engaged. My students know that I set high expectations for them and expect them to do their best and try every single day. When students step into my classroom I want them to feel safe, know that I care for them and that I am very compassionate toward their learning. I want to instill in my students that we all are lifetime learners.
Mission Statement: My mission is for all students to develop the skills they need to open the door for future opportunities. I will teach them the foundations for their future so that they can go out and conquer the world. It is important to me that each student reaches their full potential. I will be there to motivate, encourage and support students in their future endeavors.
