I have been at St. Mark since: 2018
Personal: I am married with two children and eight grandchildren (six of them attend St. Mark). As a convert to Catholicism in 2000, I enjoy attending Mass as often as possible in order to make up for lost time. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and any and all of my grandsons. I love to bike, hike, run and just get outside. I enjoy reading books about our faith, especially the lives of the Saints. I am a 4
th Degree Knight of Columbus, a Past Grand Knight of three years, attended CRHP XV at St. Mark in Plano, attend ACTS retreat in the Denton ACTS Community, and have served on several ACTS teams.
Philosophy of Education: I believe that Christ is the teacher in our classrooms and our school is a genuine community of faith. Everything we do is through the Church in order to create a Christ-centered environment where students can realize their full human potential and model their faith in this world in need of Christ’s Love.
Mission Statement: I follow former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz’s guiding principles to: Do the right thing, do the best I can and treat others the way I want to be treated. I seek to pass along an “I can do” attitude to others. God has given us all powerful brains and we need to utilize it for the greater good of His Kingdom.
