I have been at St. Mark since: 2018
Personal: I am from Sugarland, Texas. My husband and I have three girls. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and listening to music. I also really enjoy doing crafty things like cake decorating, making soap products, painting, etc.
Philosophy of Education: I believe it is my role as an educator to provide a caring, safe, and stimulating environment in which each child can grow emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. I also believe in the importance of using innovating strategies and methods that appropriately focus on the different learning styles and needs of all students. Albert Einstein said, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid."
Mission Statement: It is my mission to help students develop a passion and respect for life, themselves, others, and their environment. I will make sure the voice of each student is heard, and I will provide an atmosphere where students feel free to express themselves. I will also do my best to nurture each child's spirit and provide guidance in their learning of our Catholic faith.
