Philosophy of Education:
Learning: All learning, regardless of the specific topic, must be studied and sought in the light of the ultimate truth.
Teachers: Teachers have a special role in the lives of their students. They also have serious obligations. They are to develop the student’s gifts and talents so that they will be able to fulfill their mission in life. It is the role and obligation of teachers to teach the truth and to lead those entrusted to them in the unending search for what is true, good and beautiful.
Classroom management: Each and every human being has a dignity that cannot be taken away. Because of this dignity, it is the right of every human to be shown respect at all times.
The Student: It is the duty of each child to take responsibility for his/her own learning. Each child must cultivate a desire for truth and openness to learn in accord with their dignity.
Mission Statement: We have been given the gift of today. It is my mission to make the most of that gift, and to share that gift with each one of my students. It is my mission that each student leaves with a deeper love of the teachings of Jesus through study of Scripture and the teachings of the Church. It is my mission to provide each student with a spiritual foundation that will assist them in their growth to Holiness by providing the tools to make good decisions in all of their actions.
