Tuition Policy
The tuition contract begins in June for the upcoming school year.
Parishioner status, for the sake of tuition rates, is established for families who have fulfilled the following requirements: official registration in St. Mark parish with a minumum offering of $1,000, engaged in at least 1 activity of service within the parish/school, and participate in at least 20 Sunday Masses per year at St. Mark.
Reminder: The calendar for the parish year ends December 31 and the contribution statements must reflect payment by that date. Tuition rates will be adjusted from parishioner to non-parishioner in January if contribution requirements are not fulfilled. Requalification for the parish rate may take place the following year.
School accounts must be kept current and tuition/fees past due thirty days must be either paid in full or arrangement must be made to institute a payment plan. The arrangements for a payment plan will be made on an individual basis and will be approved or denied by the school principal and/or parish pastor. All accounts must be current to re-register for the following school year; for students to receive report cards; or in some cases, for students to take final exams.
Withdrawal Policy
St. Mark Catholic School has financial and contractual arrangements with faculty, staff, vendors, etc., which are made before the beginning of each school year.
In order for St. Mark Catholic School to fulfill its contractual obligations to faculty, staff, and others, tuition is charged through the month of withdrawal. Tuition and fees are not refunded for any reason including, but not limited to: job relocation, change in parents' decision for student to attend, etc. Upon withdrawal, there is also a $500 withdrawal fee per family.
